Thing #1

After watching the 7 and 1/2 Habits online tutorial I decided that Habit 4 is the most difficult for me and Habit 2 is the easiest. Habit 4 says "Have confidence in yourself as a competent, effective learner." This habit is the most difficult because I am not really very confident in myself. I always second guess myself and I tend to over think things. This things lead my confidence in myself to decrease. The easiest habit for me is Habit 2 which says, "accept responsibility for your own learning." This part is easy for me because I do understand what and how I learn is in the long run up to me. I choose how I approach studying. I can choose to do my homework well or wait til the last second and do a poor job. I also can choose how to study. I can study in parts so I do not cram it all in at the last second or I can choose to just read the material the night before. This aspect of my schooling career is up to me. Also although I do not necessarily have much confidence in myself I do understand that I have to take the extra effort to improve the way I do things. If I am struggling with something I have to take the responsibility  and try to fix whatever is stumping me. This can be done by studying more or asking for help, either way I have to be responsible for whatever I decide to do.

While playing with all of these Web 2.0 tools I would like to become more aware and capable of doing things through the Internet. Right now I am still at a stage where for the most part I am not very good with technology or things related to the Internet. Learning how to use all of these Web 2.0 tools will help me take advantage of all tools that are out there that I am capable of using.

Setting up the blog was somewhat hard for me. I am not very good with technology so I had to take my time and read through everything in the directions. After I got everything set up I now understand what is going on and I am starting to get the hang of things. Hopefully everything will go well throughout this project.
